GHOSTS OF YIN-JIN
XIAREN (THE SUMMER PEOPLE)
The Summer People are the largest ethnic race in Yin-Jin and make up roughly half the entire population. The Xia are fine boned and graceful, with sharp minds and a love of learning. The Summer Kings ruled longer than any other dynasty and their people prospered and spread to every corner of the land. The Xia developed much of the social structure, culture, and civilization that is Yin-Jin, and many see their race as vastly superior to the others. The Xia value manners, grace, and learning above all things. Yet despite their refinement the Xia are consummate martial artists, most of the fighting styles taught today were created by Xia masters. The Xia are very plentiful in the south, but in all but a few cities they are the majority. The Xia are tall, and only the Qiu are taller, they are graceful with rich black hair and dark eyes. They have pale creamy skin and dislike long hours under the bright sun. Many Xia long for the golden age when the Summer Kings ruled.
