GHOSTS OF YIN-JIN
QIUREN (THE AUTUMN PEOPLE)
The Autumn People are descendant of the Xiongnu horse clans that married into the Xia after Rajan the Roaring Lion took the throne. After the Xia they are the second most common race in Yin-Jin. The sturdiness of the Xiongnu mixed well with the tall graceful Xia to create a powerfully built race of warriors. The Qiu are most plentiful in the west, but can be found in all corners of the kingdom. Many still hold lands and titles given to their ancestors during the time of the Autumn Kings. The Qiu are typically seen as proud, sometimes bordering on arrogant in their demeanor, quick to anger but fiercely loyal. Horsemanship is still a measure of pride among them and all Qiu learn to ride. They are the tallest of the ethnic races and many carry a red cast to their hair from their Xiongnu ancestors.
: The Qiu’s powerful frame grants a +5 might, whereas their long tradition of horsemanship gives them a +5 ride.
