GHOSTS OF YIN-JIN
The land of Yin-Jin was originally called Ming-Jin, meaning the “Bright Lands”. Its original inhabitants were called the Yuren, or the “jade people”, and they were powerful sorcerers, but few in number. They dwelled for an unknown amount of time high in the mountains until a new people arrived from an unknown land. The Yu, who were dying out, came down from the mountains and welcomed these new comers, teaching them their magic and inter-breeding with them to revitalize their race. In time, what was left of the pure Yu died out, and the new people descendant from them called themselves the Chunren, or “people of the spring”. They grew plentiful and strong and the mightiest of their number was declared the emperor of the Spring Dynasty.
