CHUNREN (THE SPRING PEOPLE)
The Spring People are the rarest ethnic race in Yin-JIn. Only a handful of families maintain their bloodline, and most of these in and around the city of Suanni, the old spring capital. They can be immediately recognized by their green eyes, a trait they inherited from their ancient Yu ancestors. But the eyes of the Chun are known for more than just their unusual color, but also for their ability to look into the spirit world. The Chun appear otherwise very similar to the Xia but shorter,, and they are well know for their extraordinary beauty. Chun brides are highly sought, but their clans are loath to see them married off as their bloodline proves largely recessive when mixed with others, and the Chun are too few already. The Chun are a highly spiritual people and deeply religious, many become priests and priestesses. Within a few more generations the Chun may vanish altogether.
: The Chun possess the blood of the ancient Yu and are deeply tied to the spirit world granting them a +5 wu wei, they also have a reputation as the fairest and most beautiful of Yin-Jin’s races and so also receive a +5 inspire.
